| Art/Spirit is a setting for those who want more creativity, spirit, growth, and healing in their lives, and beauty with meaning in their media and products. We host group art shows with diverse work of most media that has a spiritual, philosophical, or healing theme.
Classes are offered in diverse arts: organic gardening and nutrition, creating rituals, lamp and altar making, healing techniques, yoga and meditation, astrology, prayer flag making, conscious parenting, scriptwriting and filmmaking, and creation and distribution of children’s conscious plays. We are always adding healers and builders to our growing international community (please contact us with your work). Classes involve people of all ages in practical arts and spirituality. Storytellers and healers from around the world bring their gifts in hourly or daylong treatment offerings, as well as short live-in workshops, to engage in the depths of the transformative process. We host authors of books that focus on spiritual, family, ecological, healing, practical arts and creativity, and healthy ways of living as their subject matter. We show screenings of films, present live plays with clear inspirational, ecological, and educational motifs.
The retail shop, Spirit Gallery & Nomad Cafe offers gifts, books, art, food, and weekly live music at the Dance Home space. Art/Spirit retail "stuff" is in storage in Northern California now (as of August 2008) and I'm interested in linking with people who want to play in this genre and to open in Southern California. Seven Sisters—where are you! I'm feeling like the timing is here to work together. I worked for Bucky Fuller the year before he passed. The mind is a garden; it is time to bear the fruit of many years of intention.
