Seekers Domain is a 100-hectare (250 acre) property designed around permaculture principles.
In the mountains west of Taree, the farm has one permanent and several wet weather creeks running to the Nowendoc and Manning Rivers. Good year-round rainfall is stored in tanks for household use, while the animals drink from three dams and the creeks.
There are 300 semi-mature fruit trees, herb/vegetable gardens, native woodlots and windbreaks, re-growth and forests on the mountaintops. Horses graze the hillsides with a small herd of alpacas.
We are considering bees, chickens and ducks with a view to earning most of our income from farm-based businesses.
We are not in looking for new members at the moment.
