Dudley Co-op
Cambridge, Massachusetts,
United States
The Dudley Co-op is currently Harvard College's only student cooperative house. Founded in 1958 as a cheaper, DIY option for commuting students, the two Victorian houses and its 30-40 person community have consistently provided alternative living and learning opportunities for Harvard undergraduates. Vegetarian dinners happen every night, and a well-oiled communal chore system keeps us running (along with the help of Harvard maintenance workers). We often do (optional) fun things together (e.g., special dinners, talent shows, "lingerie study breaks"), and evening meetings are held every two or three weeks.
Please come for a visit! You can sniff our garden, peruse our library, eat our bread, or just explode the Harvard stereotype.
