Shenandoah Village
central virginia, Virginia,
United States
Shenandoh Village is an alternative community for people who would like to live a simpler more fulfilling lifestyle. Self sufficiency is an age old way of life, that somewhere along the line has been replaced by modern conviences. We intend to form a community utilizing a healthy combination of both, yesterday and todays technology and resources to design and implement a community that will sustain itself through the combined efforts of its members. Although we want to provide a communal living situation, members will have individual housing.
This community is not "like" taking a step backwards in time. We will be taking a step back in time, when Men work and women mothered. This project is for 95% off grid living. http://www.freewebs.com/shenandoahsutler/
Status: Re organizing, the principle founders are still intact, but we have change a few things.
