We are an Established Year Round Salt Lake City Cooperative Community Garden,Greenhouse,Cold Frames,Bee Hives,and soon to be Hydroponics,Grow lights,Wheat Grass Station and Wild Mushroom Farm.

We strive to plant and grow organically. We pick fruit. We share meals,upkeep,care and maintenance at the property.

Open to new members. Garden Gang members also have opportunity to become short or long term live in residents in the Green Street Coop. All Green Street Household Coop members are also required to be Garden Gang Members. However, Garden Gang Members are not required to be residents of the Green Street Household Coop(see links below).

Household Committment:

Currently there is no min committment of hours and other shared household costs required above the base cost $650 short term/$550 long term of furnished/unfurnished room which includes all utilities,gas,electric, water, cable,internet, etc. However, each member tracks their individual hourly and financial contributions to household tasks,food puchased,food prep, cleaning,other typical household supplies,etc in our "pages"section of our blog and balances out their contributions over quarter period. If this posses problem, min requirement will be implemented.

Garden Commitment:

1.Positive Attitude,Passion, Motivation,Responsible,Work Ethic, Takes Inititive, Desire to Learn

2.$15/month donation equates to 50 cents/day. $60paid in full beginning of their first trimester.

4.1 month as co communicator/coordinator per trimester/your 4 month minimum commitment period. ALTERNATE OPTION: Hire someone to cover your month as co communicator/co co coordinator.

5. At this time there is no minimum commitment for the number of hours you put in to garden. However,everyone tracks hours/tasks on blog and it is up you to balance the number of hours that you are putting in over a 4 month/trimester period compared to others in group and contribute accordingly. If this posses a problem, min requirement will be implemented.

6.At this point we will not be tracking food distribution,if this poses a problem, one will be implemented.
