 Interested in joining a community on the water?
The Earth-Ship will be run by a small stable community of approximentally 20 people. As the community travels from port to port it will pick up new passengers for a day conference, or longer.
The purpose of the Earth-Ship is to provide education and networking. Here is an exerpt from the mission statement:
"The EARTH-SHIP program is a floating auditorium that uses live video conferencing, lectures, meetings and a myriad of social events to bring people together.
The EARTH-SHIP program will use live video conferencing to allow people to discuss international issues, one-on-one and face-to-face. It will be an upbeat global pep-rally for concerns common to all mankind; a chance for people from all nations to come together - across national boundaries, across mountain ranges, and even across oceans - to discuss common ideas, concerns, and solutions. The world will become one."
We are looking for people that can live the message of sustainability, provide a new and real paradigm to communities, and provide the skills necessary to make this happen. Please check out the website.
