| Eco Actuality plans to bring the concept of planned and managed green ecology into the modern age.
We believe that to change the world, you have to change people. We also believe that this can only be done by setting an example and offering to teach those who are willing to learn. In this, we firmly believe that technology is our strongest ally – not, as many believe, the source of all things damaging to the planet. We intend to embrace technology and show how it can be used to put all of the modern comforts we have come to expect into a green and healthy environment – and put it firmly in harmony with that environment.
We intend to build a community of people dedicated to the betterment of themselves and their surroundings. To this end we will, as a community, construct a settlement of over ten carbon negative (or at least neutral) dwellings, and a number of other buildings which will be used as a holistic treatment/green education holiday destination. We will, as a community, be self-sufficient in every way possible, including: power; food; water, and waste.
We aim to work free, meaning that work will be enjoyable, and keep us fit, healthy, mentally happy, and refreshed. This work will usually consist of tasks that help build and fuel our community, such as: feeding animals; tending vegetable patches; planting; building pens and fences; working with visitors in a teaching role; performing holistic therapies, or even general administration tasks that every community and business requires.
Our holistic treatment centre will offer various therapies, some of which will be dependent on the skills of our community members. We will, however, always aim to improve visitors’ health and wellbeing, and their harmony with the modern world in everything we do.
We will use our own experiences and learning with various green technologies to teach others how to utilise modern technology to improve their environment, and reduce their own impact. We will offer all of our services to visitors staying on site, and to day-visitors and the local community.
It is our firmly held belief that people want to change the way they live, and they way they think and feel – we believe that everyone is searching for a better way – and we believe that by giving people a venue where they can find what they need, we will change the world. | Contact: Links: Eco Actuality: This site is where we will draw our members together, and round-out our plans and vision statement. When the community is built, this site will be the main point of contact for visitors | Community location is placed at the center of the zip/postal code, city/state, or city/country (not based on street addresses) |
