(Seeking land between Asheville NC & Cleveland TN)
Planning a Christian community in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Seeking families who desire to invest their lives in following the Lord and being about His business in an ACT's 2 type of lifestyle. Down the road, we envision this place being a safe harbor for those seeking rest and restoration. Looking to establish on 10-100 acres. WE DO NOT HAVE LAND YET. Waiting on God's leading and provision or through donation to the ministry. We intend to minister to the lost in various ways as the Lord directs. We will be moving towards living off the land as much as possible. Huge organic garden, chickens, cow and/or goats, fruit trees, etc... We desire to live in separate family homes on this property with a larger gathering place for worship, ministry, fellowship, etc... We envision building very efficient homes that would be able to go off-grid if needed. We are reviewing earth-shelter type of homes currently. (Which appears promising, but are open to other types of homes) We take seriously the Proverb, "train up a child the way that they should go". We have not had TV in our homes for 8 years. Seeking 4 to 10 committed primary families willing to be sensitive to His Spirit and He leads, guides and directs our steps in this ministry. (name change likely, but we want to ensure that we attract people that know Jesus is the only way to the Father.)
