My Girlfriend and I are looking to buy a parcel of land with others so that the price per acre can be minimized. Our goal is to create an affordable way to buy land. We are open to a variety of forms of community evolving from this initiative. We are seeking like minded people who would like to buy land, either as "tenants in common" or with the intention to subdivide the land into separate parcels.
We are looking for people who want to live a more environmentally friendly lifestyle. This can mean many things but does not have mean being 100% self reliant. Although that would be better and that is what we are aiming for on our portion of the land.
As of now we are looking to buy land in the Kootenays http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kootenays and are exploring parts of Vancouver Island as well. We are open to other areas but it would have to be in an area with a good growing season and of course reasonably cheap land.
If this interests you please e-mail me so we can talk and I can give you more info.
Thanks
C Thomas
