We are individuals united to create conscious communities, guided by grace, that are havens liberating and nurturing the potential of all through social equity, integrity, courage, transformative growth, collaborative enterprises, celebration and care of the planet.
Our intention is to create a 4 bottom-line intentional community / eco-village on the Sunshine Coast hinterland on or near the Blackall Ranges to model sustainable community living.
The first bottom line is personal transformative growth and the recognition of the divine that exists in all of us and our planet. The community thus has a spiritual, though non-denominational, basis. Our intention is fundamentally outward focused, with the intent to interact and influence society in positive ways.
The second is social sustainability and connection. This incorporates facilitating people from different ages, backgrounds and economic circumstances, setting a minimum community size. It incorporates governance that is honouring to all, recoginising the need to be heard; and communication and resolution skills.
Economic sustainability incorporates desirable industry that supports our mission, as well as growing non-currency based internal economies, leading to an eventual grace economy.
Environmental sustainability incorporates our desire for food production on what will be a rural site, water gathering and treatment and dispersal, ecological building design and construction and refurbishments, and aiming for renewable energy.
We envisage holding workshops and retreats that further our own skills as well as preparing the wider community for increasingly sustainable practices.
