Talk a walk with us...
First off, this community is NOT based on the Mormons, despite being incredibly close geographically to one of their favorite spots in New York. We happen to be self-identified as Biblical Christian and semi-agnostic. That said, we have no problem with LDS or any other faith respectfully held.
Now that we've said what we are not, we ARE a small group of adults looking to build a plural family, extra adults to share the work and the bills, although not identically or evenly. For example, single mothers are welcome—whether they choose to take care of kids or work outside the home, performing either of these for the benefit of everyone elevates all of us. Not identically because not ALL women are expected to do either of the above, and not evenly because we're not planning 100 percent pooling, and would enact some mutually-agreed-upon-as-fair sharing vs. private allocation.
Overall, write us if you want more details or have questions.
