(Highlands of Panama near Costa Rica)
Valley of the Moon Caring for the Land and Our Health
The Valley of the Moon Eco Demonstration Project in the eternal spring (65-85 F all year long) of the beautiful, bountiful Highlands of Panama near the Costa Rica Border has acquired the first of its properties. A 2 acre property with two houses (which will undergo expansion and renovation to become our headquarters, hotel, seminar, conference, BeyondOrganic restaurant and teaching spaces) will allow us to construct a natural medical/healing/wellness center, a yoga and movement center, a teaching kitchen and cafe, intensive gardening classrooms and a meditation area adjacent to the river that runs through our property.
Five minutes away we have acquired a working farm with 5 commercial green houses covering nearly 2.5 acres and a somewhat larger space of open fields.
We will be able to produce our own food, as well as clean, unadulterated food for the community.
There is a building on the farm which will be renovated to become our farm school dormitory, kitchen and class room area.
The farm currently produces up to 5000 ducks and chickens at one time.
We will reconfigure the farm to create a self sustaining, off the grid, zero emissions BeyondOrganic farm and farm school employing novel and safe technologies and teach them to farmers and non farmers so that the Natural Solutions Foundation's International Decade of Nutrition goal of reclaiming the production of food can move toward becoming a reality.
People wishing to participate in the discussion and possibly the project can join our Yahoo! forum at
tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/NSF-Panama/join. There is a weekly conference call for members of this forum.
Run by the Natural Solutions Foundation of Panama, an affiliate of the Natural Solutions Foundation, www.HealthFreedomUSA.org, and part of its International Decade of Nutrition, this off-the-grid, fully self sustaining community of 75 - 100 households will be built around the principles of zero emissions and integrated sustainability (a la Songhai Center, Benin, see www.Youtube.com/naturalsolutions, click on "Songhai videos".) and, indeed, we will be mentored in that respect by Father Godfrey Nzamujo, its founder. Through our strong alliance with the Panama Organic Growers (responsible for the Panamanian law against genetically modified foods) we will create a working farm and a farm school to return to farmers from around the world the capacity and technology necessary to farm effectively without chemicals to feed themselves and their communities.
The Valley of the Moon Project will serve as an ark in dark times which may lie ahead as civil rights are lost in the US and compulsory vaccination and other intrusions are proffered by governments. A State of the Healing Arts Center providing care for ourselves, medical tourists and the community will serve as a point of focus and an income stream. We'll create an arts center and create a community life through varied types of housing and equitable commitment to the community in the context of balancing Social Capital and Financial Capital.
A Panamanian corporation, the Natural Solutions Corporation, is authorized by several US IRA and 401 Custodians to accept funds for offshore investment. We welcome inquiries. Please contact Foundation Trustee Ralph Fucetola,JD, ralph.fucetola@usa.net, 973-300-4594.
Through the structure of a land trust with home sites secured by long terms leases renewable in perpetuity, we seek not only sustainability but longevity of commitment as well. We span the socioeconomic scale, the age scale and a diversity of talent which is astonishing. We will create a school for our children and others.
The Santa Clara community is looking for awake, aware and involved people who understand the importance of healthy food and a non-industrialized food supply for sustainability, treasure sound relationships and are looking for a place to put their diverse talents which is clean/safe/secure/challenging.
Healthy relationships, healthy food and jot are available.

Dear Friends of
I would like to introduce myself and begin communications with you all in the hope that I may visit in the early part of 2011.
I am currently a personal assistant to Mignon C. Smith in Washington, DC. I plan to leave this work in Sept. of 2010 and return to Los Angeles to be with my son, Zhuba, who is 12 years old and his mother, Lakshmi, acupuncturist and dancer. Lakshmi and I are best friends. Once I find a community, they may join me; although I am writing primarily for myself.
I have lived in an intentional community, The Pan American Pan African Foundation, for nine years. The community dissolved about twenty years ago. I am a massage therapist, novice acupuncturist, psychiatric technician, textile artist, surfer, play tenor saxophone, and mediate. I have been studying Spanish for two years. I believe in consensus and have studied for ten years non violent communication skills. I love life and I love my life. I do believe I have good spirits watching over me.
