Our group is actively working on establishing a cohousing community in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. Please join our Yahoo group if you are interested in being a part of Kelowna Cohousing. We embrace diversity and welcome households of every type (singles, couples, families with children) and people of any age, race, gender, sexual orientation and physical ability. We are keen to create a friendly, pedestrian-oriented community.

Government Decision Making: By consensus (We are having monthly meetings and we are enjoying reaching decisions by consensus.) Leadership Core Group: Yes (We have "decision-making members", who plan to live in the finished community. We also have "members at large", who are not yet committed to living in the community, but who are interested in cohousing in Kelowna.)	Labor and Money Financial Style: Members have independent finances Open to Members with Pre-existing Debt: Yes Labor Contribution: Expected (In most cohousing communities, members enjoy sharing labour, such as cooking communal meals, planting flowerbeds and so on.
