The Biblical Christian Community
Early Roman Christians Studying the Word Together
 Greetings fellow Christians,
The Biblical Christian Community is just that, a community of Biblical Christians.
We are not some Hippie commune practicing free love and getting high on drugs. We are not some New Age "Center" speaking blasphemies against the Saviour and claiming that we can become Gods on earth. We are not some Eco-Village that ignores the Creator of this earth in favor of worshipping the earth itself. We are not some guru led group that has a mere man who lusts for power leading us, and we are most definitely not some psedo-Christian cult claiming to be the only true Christiuans on earth, or offering divine power, financial prosperity, Melchizedek this and Enochian that, and other such nonsense.
We do not reject the Scriptures in favor of human understanding as that is exactly how cults get started. When the Scriptures are rejected as the one true standard to live by, they are replaced with the words, teachings, rules and commands of some mere mortal man, who nine times out of ten is a lunatic!
By the way, if you are a typical "denominational Christian" you may want to read that above statement again. Denomninational Christians like to point fingers at fringe sects like the Branch Davidians, Twelve Tribes, etc (and rightly so as these groups are cults, for they replace the word of God with man-made teachings and pet doctrines), however what they don't realize is their own denomination is most likely a cult as well.
Nearly all modern day "denominations" have denegrated to "cult" status as they have rejected the word of God in favor of some doctrine of man or extra-Biblical revelation.
The Pentecostals have begun preaching extra-Biblical revelations and rejected the clear truths of Scripture.
The Baptists have beguin preaching such false-holiness doctrines as "no pants for women and only shirts and ties for men" while rejcting true modesty (many dresses can be much more immodest then a pair of girly pants).
The United Pentecostals have rejected the truth of the Triune God of the Bible in favor of a schizophrenic Jesus who was His own "Father".
The Methodists have denied the holiness of God's word (let alone the holiness teachings of John Wesley) and accepted sodomite pastors.
The Roman Catholics (who's religion is really nothing more then a re-packaged version of the ancient Babylonian religion, mixed with apostate Judaism) have rejected the clear word of God in favor of a mere mortal man (Pope).
The Lutherans have ran back to the Roman Catholic cult and forgotten the teachings of Christ (let alone those of Martin Luther).
The Presbyterians, Anglicans and Congregationalists have lost their zeal to share the truths of Scripture with a dying world and have replaced many of Christ's teachings with denominational "pet doctrines".
The Seventh Day Adventists have latched onto one of the ten commandments and forgotten the truths of many of Christ's clear words. They have replaced the greatest teacher who ever lived with a mere mortal women, and suffered for doing so.
The Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses were never true Christians to begin with and are still among two of the most anti-Biblical and anti-Christ human organizations on earth.
Even the Ana-baptists (Amish, Mennonite and Hutterities), who are generally speaking, among the most sincere and lovely Christians on this earth, have replaced God's freedom and liberty (not to sin but to live a holy life, governed by His laws alone) with a strict set of human rules and regulations that have no basis in Scripture. They have replaced the true life-changing and soul-saving power of salvation, with the lifeless and powerless act of merely being water baptized and "joining their church".
The many Independent Christian communities and "churches (the true "church" is simply the Christian individual and not a mere building or human organization) around generally have a slew of pet doctrines and man made rules and have also repleced the truth of Christ with the laws of a man.
All of the above said, we are not condemning any true Christian who belongs to one of the above human organizations, as only God knows each person's heart. However, we most certainly do acknowledge that all human organizations, denominations and sects have, for the most part, assumed cult status and moved away from the truth of Christ over the years. We do not however blow our own trumpet and proclaim that we are better then all of the above or the "only real Christians" for such is nothing more then pride. We are a community of true Christians, but we are humans nonetheless and have all the usual frailties of such. We are tempted as all men are and we most overcome our temptations through a sincere love for God and desire to please Him, as all must.
We believe that the Bible, and more specifically the New Covenant of the Lord Jesus Christ, is our standard by which to live. This being the case, we are in no need of human spiritual teachers or man-made dogmas and individual "pet doctrines". God's word is sufficient.
We do not believe in extra-Biblical revelation (from which comes an abundance of lunacy and error), although we certainly acknowledge that the Lord can speak to His people and lead and guide them to obey His will and word. Furthermore, we do not believe in burdening people with man-made rules, however we most certainly do believe in obeying God's word.
For example, we would never demand a woman wear a specific dress pattern or that a man wear a specific color shirt; however we would preach and teach that both men and women dress modestly as the Lord commands such.
In regards to what we do believe, and how we do live, our "statement of faith" is the word of God and more specifically the New Covenant of the Lord Jesus Christ. We most certainly respect and honour the Old Covenant and believe that it teaches us about righteousness, God's character, and is holy, just and good, however we also acknowledge where it has been strengthened and improved by the New Covenant. We do not believe that God's Ten Commandments have been "done away with" but do understand the truth that a New Covenant has been in effect since Christ died for our sins and that it has improved upon the Old Covenant (especially the Mosaic Law) in a multitude of ways.
We are hoping to form a community made up of Biblical Christians, whereby we live self-sufficiently off the land, in our own individual eco homes and in peace with all men, all the while being a vibrant witness for the Lord Jesus Christ to the world and bearing one another's burdens in love.
It is our vision to have a community of like minded brothers and sisters from all over the world, living together on one large organic plantation, in their own private eco homes, and doing work they truly love to do.
We envision brothers and sisters working in the fields of old fashioned arts and crafts, farming, animal husbandry, as well as any other services which a they love such as auto repair, fishing, writing, teaching, et all.
We envision having our own school for those folks who do not feel capable of homeschooling their children and also to make this school available to other families in the area so that we may reach as many children as we can with the truth of Christ Jesus.
We envision having a campground as well as rental homes for weary travelers, adventure seeking tourists and truth seekers alike, where one and all can come to not only experience living off the land and being a good steward of God's creation but also ask their sincere questions about Biblical Christianity and receive straight answers.
We envision having a naturopathic health ministry, with a professional midwife on hand so that we may minister God's gifts of natural healing to those who need it and help women who would rather have a baby in their own home then in a modern hospital.
Depending on where this community finally takes shape, we envision having a ministry to the homeless (yes there are countries and especially areas of countries that do not have any homeless people) and to orphans, as well as to prisoners and their families.
We desire to help as many people as possible but we do not ever wish to become a "good deeds, no Gospel" organization like Samaritan's Purse or others who have stopped preaching the gospel and simply focused on a so-called "helps ministry". These "ministries" would rather give someone in a burning house a glass of water to quench their thirst, then a firefighter to save them, and it is terribly sad! We understand that the most important thing we could ever do for someone is to lead them to a saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, for what good is it if a man gains the whole world and loses his own soul?
We do not desire to have all of these ministies to make money, nor to store up treasures on earth, but so that we may further help the brethren around the world stay strong for the Lord. That said, we would love to donate a large portion of whatever income we earn to such worthy ministries as "GFA (Gospel for Asia)" that still have their focus on Christ and not on good publicity, on preaching the truth regardless of what people think and not on being politically correct.
We desire to serve God, not man, to serve the Lord Jesus Christ, not self, to serve the Holy Spirit, not the spirit of this world, and to do God's will, no matter the cost!
**************************
If you are a true Christian who desires to not only live among other true Christians as the followers of Christ did in the first century, but to share your gifts and callings with the body of Christ and to be held accountable by other true brothers and sisters in the Lord, then we would love to hear from you.
Please do read through the questions this site asks and the answers we provided below, as it will help you to get a much better understanding of our goals and how strongly we adhere to the word of God.
Feel free to ask us any and all questions you have and be prepared to answer any and all questions we have; let us move forward in faith and love and seek to bear one another's burdens and fulfill the law of Christ.
May the Lord's perfect will be done!
