Lak'ech EcoLodge and Ranch
Westerose, Alberta,
Canada
Tristan and Sheep, Swami, Ojion and Keyera
Nestled on 78 acres of boreal forest in central Alberta, Lak'ech EcoLodge and Ranch is building new roads: Sustainable construction, solar energy, natural birthing, renewable tourism, nature therapy and animal-assisted therapy, herbal wildcrafting, organic chef and bakers, cottage industries for artists and musicians, biodynamic, Waldorf homeschooling and organic gardening. We are pioneers in Alberta; we can't even find a biodynamic teacher in western Canada who will guide our journey! If you are fearless, creative, hardworking and not afraid to shovel alpaca poop, come join in community with us! We share this land with horses, alpacas, llamas, sheep, goats, dogs and cats, moose, deer, ravens, elk, and coyotes. We are looking for sustainble contractors, artists, musicians, weavers, horse trainers, social workers specializing in children and First Nations peoples, healers, chefs, Waldorf or earl childhood teachers, midwifes, doulas, herbalists, naturopathic doctors, child psychologists, grandmas, grandpas, children, outdoor survival guides, woodworkers, carvers.... We hope to fully sustainable by 2010. Build your dream home whether it be a yurt, geodesic dome or treehouse! Raise your children in nature, close to plants and animals, to be taught practical life and communication skills! Come join us and re-discover your Nature!
