Welcome to Adawehi!
The 125-acre Adawehi campus is the home of around 60 people. It is a community of individuals who are raising their consciousness around health and healing in four areas—physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. The residents support each other in getting past any emotional attachments that block expression of their heart gifts fully in the physical. After everyone gets clear about the heart gift they can bring, ways of bringing those gifts are defined together. This four-part process is experienced in all ten community houses. New homes are under construction, giving more people an opportunity to join in community.
The population of the community is a multi-racial mix of old and young, singles, couples, and families. While everyone is expected to contribute in maintaining the Adawehi buildings, grounds, and activities, jobs must be secured away from the land. Healthy eating and healthy living are expected, and personal growth is the accepted norm.
The Adawehi Institute and Wellness Center is home to ten wellness practitioners and offers a whole array of classes, both onsite and online. Offerings include personal growth classes and workshops, community events, Beneficial Foods (a 2,800 sq. ft. natural market featuring fresh-baked, organic and locally-grown grocery items), fitness facility, online continuing-education courses for healing arts professionals, plus books and CD’s by the founder, Jackie Woods.
For visitors who want to experience the Adawehi healing energy overnight, the Adawehi Wellness Retreat has two gorgeous rooms available for rent. Each room is beautifully decorated and features a queen-size bed, a sitting area, fine linens, and a lovely view.
The Adawehi Mission: Our mission at Adawehi is to empower the heart for extraordinary living. We believe that everyone is entitled to live life in a passionate and creative way. To reach this state, we support people in healing the unproductive, the unchanging and wounded parts of their lives so that they can inherit their birthright of empowered living. We believe that when people have the support to heal on all levels of their being, their hearts can touch other hearts and the world is changed.
