Thomas Farm Community
Rindge, New Hampshire,
United States
Thomas Farm Community is a village of 16 to 20 small homes in the Monadnock region of New Hampshire. It is affiliated with The Meeting School, sharing stewardship of 140 acres of farm and forest. Based on sustainable and simple living with a spiritual foundation, the two communities offer each other diversity and opportunities for educational and spiritual growth. Projected occupancy of Thomas Farm Community is 2010; new members are welcome from all religions, national origins, and sexual orientations.
The Meeting School, founded in 1957, is a small, co-educational Quaker boarding and day school for grades 9-12, located on an historic working organic farm (www.meetingschool.org). TMS cultivates a simple lifestyle where students and faculty experience meaningful intellectual, physical, and spiritual work. Supportive, honest relationships and authentic learning prepare students to be active global citizens.
