Currently we are a small group of passionate, conscious, hardworking, intelligent and friendly people who have come together on the Sunshine Coast and are looking to purchase land in the area which we intend to transform into a sustainable, self-sufficient home. Among us are activists, social workers, organic bakers and mothers coming from various backgrounds with a wide range of skills and experience. We are looking to buy at least 4 acres of land, preferably with access to a stream or creek to be used for power, on which we wish to build cob houses and organic gardens to sustain ourselves. Together, we have about $250,000 to invest and are actively seeking similar minded people who have money with which to jointly purchase the land. We aim to create the most sustainable and self-sufficient home possible in an safe progressive environment for learning and growing where everyone is welcome and everyone is happy. We stress community and sharing in a natural space where everyone has room to reconnect with themselves, the earth, and the people that surround them.
