We are preparing to establish a healing retreat center and residential community devoted to nurturing health, wellness, and joy through preventive care, restorative healthcare practices, and balanced, healthy living. When fully developed, we intend to provide integrative family medical care, natural health spa services, wellness programs including meditation and yoga, children's health programs, integral health study groups, wholesome vegetarian meals, and lodging/retreat facilities including secluded personal meditation cabins in a rustic setting. We are seeking physicians, integrative healthcare professionals, acupuncturists, massage practitioners, bodyworkers, yoga and movement instructors, sustainable design experts, architects, horticulturists, craftspeople, web designers, musicians, artists, teachers, and chefs to join us. Our vision is symbolized by the calyx (pronounced “kaylix”). The calyx is the cup-shaped structure of a plant that protects the bud and supports its transformation into a flower. In a similar way, Calyx Institute will nurture integrated transformation and growth.
