 Kivisalo ecovillage is a community in the countryside. It is an ecovillage with an emphasis on local activity and community.
It is an experiment in how to shift a privately owned farm to a co-op and build both a sense of community and infrastructure.
The 121-hectares farm, with forests, agricultural land, and 5 km coastline, is situated near Kuopio, east of Finland.
