Snowflake/Taylor/ShowLow, Arizona,
United States
We are nearing the end of our planning stages and will be purchasing the land soon. At this point, we are seeking interested parties to join us in building the farm.
Overall our concept is to have three to five families in individual houses. We hope to grow all of our own veggies and fruits, have chickens for eggs (not for meat), and goats for milk (and handmade goat’s milk soap). We hope also to produce our own power although we will be on grid.
Later we anticipate generating income by selling our produce—herbs and handmade goods—at a local farmers market and co-op store and by giving tours of our community with classes on ECO living and permaculture and arts/crafts events on our land.
As the community develops we hope to be able to provide free childcare, dinners, and alternative medicine to all community members.
Those interested in knowing more may email us. We look forward to meeting all interested parties and building a strong community together.
