Aquarian World Vision Center
Located in Bethel, New York, home of the original Woodstock in 1969, the Aquarian World Vision Center is a philosophical and educational meeting place where people of all faiths and philosophies can gather in peace and harmony. We are creating a peaceful community of individuals living together in harmony with nature and each other.
We have begun using methods of sustainable energy, and currently have a number of projects underway: experiments in organic farming, and in the harnessing of pollution-free and renewable, natural energy, such as wind, solar, hydroelectric and other means.
We have this fairly liberal, "open door" policy because we remember how it was on the original Woodstock site here in Bethel before the fences went up. All could come and go freely, set up a tent, build a fire, play drums, and communicate peacefully. It was a beautiful and precious thing and that spirit of "live and let live!" should be protected, promoted, and preserved forever.
On these beautiful and secluded 16 acres, you'll find a small community of peaceful individuals, and much opportunity for spiritual and personal growth. The website is under construction, but please visit http://www.sustainablescience.net:81/OrganicAgriculture/ to get a glimpse of some recent progress. Email powwownggt@yahoo.com with any questions, including directions here. Peace!
