Sky Meadow is a small family-run organic homestead and retreat center in rural Vermont. Our form of community usually involves people coming to stay with us anywhere from several months to several years. Our primary focus is supporting each other’s spiritual growth, caring for the earth, and serving others who come here on retreat. We share silent meditation, morning check-in, a community meal, and work periods, five days a week. There is no belief system or formula to follow, but rather a commitment to presence, personal accountability, and honest direct communication. Our work is maintaining the buildings and land, growing food, cleaning, cooking, and hosting groups and individuals on retreat. We offer a private room and small stipend for people who stay longer than two months. Our diet is vegetarian with a focus on local food in season. The work is physical, often outdoors, and fun.
