Dancing Creek Farm
Cascade, Virginia,
United States
Currently there are 30 acres with a house, greenhouse, barn, creek, and some pastures. My project is to find a strong collection of like-minded people who have experience in building community farming, eco-construction, etc. Right now we are forming so the team selection is important.
Each member is responsible for a project that assists the total community. Our focus is on growing produce and providing education for the community at large. We will consider free land lease in exchange for a percentage of produce or labor with an option to buy later.
Updated 2011-
We had a few people out here who said they had experience and it turns out they did not. So we stopped considering people for a few years.
We have revamped our vision and updated our listing.
We are seeking spiritually sound and conscious people. We dont follow any standard religions or spiritual practices however we welcome all. There is plenty of land to build cob houses, simple structures or you are welcome to put up a tent. We currently have no living space but happy to discuss changing this soon. We have plenty of land and resources.
You must be able to work and contribute.
