Common Ground (UT)
SALT LAKE VALLEY, Utah,
United States
We are committed to co-creating a sustainable co-housing community filled with peace, health, sufficiency and love.
Diversity is our strength. The loving contribution of individual gifts creates synergy from which each and everyone can be nourished. We cultivate our interdependence - both within our community and in the larger society. We respect the choices of each individual and honor others’ needs. We have fun, play, and celebrate life within a vibrant social environment. We feel safe and at home with each other.
Our communication is open and honest, in a spirit of cooperation for the common good. We move forward together through dialogue, consensus, and shared leadership. We are open to new ways to more fully express who we are.
As conscious stewards of the Earth’s resources, we create and maintain a sustainable, livable community. Our homes, gardens and common spaces are naturally beautiful, comfortable and
affordable. Empowered by love and enthusiasm, we design, build and live wisely and efficiently, using the healthiest and most practical technologies and methods.
Our love and respect for each other and the Earth nourishes our spirit and inspires us to live consciously and responsibly.
Our community is an example of what is truly possible.
