As human beings, we are born into a world based on an exchange of habitual patterns, emotions, rituals, and beliefs that we are taught, eventually absorb, and act out. These patterns define our personality and relationship to the external world—how we interpret and how we perform the interpretation. They can be recognized in our movements, emotions, and thoughts. We take them to be our real and only self. Because we are not subtle or conscious enough to feel our subjective mechanical performance of these patterns—misunderstanding, confused thinking, strong emotion, and ignorance, along with a sense of separateness, loneliness, and emptiness, can be the result.

We believe that one is equipped with an innate objective consciousness that, given the right recognition, support, and conditions, can strengthen itself to a point of realizing that the manifest patterns do not represent our Real or Essential Being.
