MorningSun is a forming education center that supports people to discover and unfold their potential for effective and healing action in the world. It seeks to provide a unique learning environment based on sustainable living and a daily practice of mindfulness.
We are developing both the education center and our resident community in a deeply interconnected way. Togetherness, careful loving communication, and a willingness to grow through shared mindfulness practice generate a fertile soil in which our programs are growing. Programs focus on developing health, well-being, and sustainability in individuals, families, society, and the environment. They blend focused learning with service work, traditional crafts, and work on the land, and all include a training in mindfulness that supports caring human interaction and helps participants learn to respond to situations of suffering with skill, clarity, and peace.
MorningSun's programs are being developed for adults, families, youth, and children.
Please visit the website and/or contact us for more information. We welcome inquiries and visitors. If this vision resonates with you, we would love to explore the possibility of your participation.
MorningSun is a project of the Mindful Living Initiative (MLI), a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that provides education and training for individuals and groups to engage in mindfulness practice and skills of sustainable living in relation to social, economic, and ecological situations.
