Tapestry Cohousing
Waterloo Region, Ontario,
Canada
Tapestry Cohousing was formed to create a sustainable cohousing community in the Waterloo Region in Ontario, Canada. We will be building approximately 30 homes combining the advantage of privacy and shared common facilities. We manage ourselves through consensus decision making. Our vision is to create relationships in our cohousing community as an extension of our families. We are open to an ever-widening range of diverse members and strive to understand each other's differences. We believe the best course of action is motivated by kindness. We share both physical items such as resources as well as less the tangible ones like meals, responsibilities, experiences, and each other's lives. We will work towards lifestyles that are sustainable for generations, and adaptable and responsive to environmental challenges.
We are now seeking individuals and households who would be interested in becoming members and assisting in the ongoing growth and development of our community.
  Status: growing and seeking members
