Green Valley Village
Sebastopol, California,
United States
Two acres of cover crop in an old vineyard that never was a vineyard
We are a growing eco-village of 24 people spanning three generations endeavoring to co-create a culture of conscious kinship, ecological sustainability, and Life-affirming economics.
We are forming an LLC to develop a long-term lease with the MRP Trust, which purchased
hundreds of acres of rolling hills, farmland, and forest in the heart of West Sonoma County, California in 2006 to serve as a demonstration site of an intentionally integrated culture that conscientiously meets human needs.
Those of us who live, love, learn, work, and serve & celebrate life together express our shared commitment to conscious evolution through the following spheres of influences: personal & ecological health, honest & loving kinship, life-long learning & holistic education, resourceful ingenuity & creative expression.
The land we inhabit and steward is in the heart of West Sonoma County, California. (Less than a 20-minute drive from the towns of Santa Rosa, Sebastopol, Occidental, and Guerneville.) We are the site of Green Valley Farm CSA, Oaktopia -unique oaktree nursery, and Wildernes Skills nature awareness programs for youth. The CSA and the CRIC house (Center for Cultural Rehabilitation Internship Center) located here is part of the network of WWOOF locations.
