The Jewel: Crafting, Educational, Permaculture, Profitable

 The Jewel Project's vision is...a self-sustaining, profitable, educational, crafting community where people feel acknowleged for who they truly are.
We are creating this project out of our desire that people be able to express their inner gifts and resources in community with love.
Below are some of the components of the community:
A community built upon the principles of permaculture, which is a model community for others to learn from.
A community that crafts heartfelt stuffed animals and other crafts, including the materials that contribute to the craft products.
An educational community which provides a variety of opportunities for people to exchange wisdom, in an educational format, of which each person freely chooses. Educational opportunities include elements of daily living which help nurture human spirit and create healthy community.
A community which provides all of the necessary sustenance and shelter, through gardening, animal husbandry, and environmentally compatible, earth friendly housing.
A community which contributes and exchanges with the local surrounding communities and communities in the world at large.
