| Our vision of the Community "Animation - The L@st Resort" is: A self-sustaining community, based in truth, creativity and innovation combined with a level of consciousness that recognizes that, one best serves themself by serving the greater good of all.
Try, if you will, to imagine a life in "a boardwalk type community" (remember Knott's Berry Farm - Anaheim Calif.?) Consider some separate cabins and some co-op buildings (eg. dining hall, workshop, barn, co-op store). Each boardwalk unit would have living space and a storefront or private studio front (for those who wish the co-op to sell their wares). Ideally there could be a permanent pow-wow adjacent to "Animation". God! We could have done this when we first came on these shores!
Now, let's have some fun with the names we could use for some of the small businesses . How about a beauty/barber shop called (quote)"curl-up and dye" or "clip joint", or a beverage establishment (3 alcoholic drinks max.) called "Bar-nun" or "Bar-none", or a small mission/church/meeting hall called "Mission I'mpossible" a craft playroom for adults called "Kinder-garden", a hotel called "Inn Formation" a gym called "Ms. Fit", a well-being center called, "The Heart-Nose-Everything Center, how about, "The Friendly Hostel", etc... Silly? Not really. Joyful, humorous and fun? Indeed! Are you inspired by ideas like these? Or am I alone out there - HELLO! It's time for us freethinkers/freespirits to come out of the woodwork to share and help each other, and thereby create a prototype community a new society and a new paradigm.
When I was given the name "Animation" (meaning Spirit Movement") I was instructed to "use it forward and backward" right away I grabbed a piece of paper and wrote Animation out backwards n-o-i-t-a-m-i-n-a, which I saw as "know it amina", after some research I found out that "amina" was the mother of mohammed, and that amina literally means: "truthful and honest". Way cool!
