| Philadelphia CoHousing will be a cohousing community within the city limits of Philadelphia. Its focus will evolve as the community expands. Presently the intention is to create a diverse (with regards to age, economic levels, family types, race, religion, gender, and sexual preference), mid-size (24-36 households), cohousing community with a focus on sustainable architecture. Neighborhoods such as Mount Airy, Germantown, and University City are being considered.
There will be a meeting of people interested in creating cohousing neighborhoods in Philadelphia on Wednesday, November 8 at 7049 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is the NIM office at the corner of Germantown Avenue and Mount Pleasant Street.
