Pinnacle Project
Lyme, New Hampshire,
United States
We are creating a multi-age, intentional community one mile from Lyme and 10 miles from Hanover, NH. We are appropriate for singles, couples, and families. Lyme is rural but we are on a paved highway only 10 miles from Dartmouth College and an excellent tertiary care medical center. The community consists of 28 homes: 16 to 18 suites connected to the common house and approximately 10 fourplexes /townhouses. We own 120 acres with waterfront on Post Pond and operate a cabin based hospitality business, Loch Lyme Lodge, (with lodge, barn, and 21 rustic cabins). We are creating an attractive, comfortable, environmentally intelligent community in which one can live, raise a family, welcome guests, and live long into retirement, aging in place.
Our website begins with this paragraph: "Did you ever wish you had a big rambling house on a pond with fruit trees and gardens?...Do you fondly remember your days in college or graduate school and miss the group dinners with stimulating conversation?...Does the idea of living comfortably for less than it costs to live on your own appeal to you? A group of us have had just these ideas. We hoped someday to move to that big house in the country and live there with some of our friends and their families. Now it is happening."
