Tuscaloosa Cooperative Association
Tuscaloosa County, Alabama,
United States
Desired Outcome
The Tuscaloosa Cooperative Association (TCA)is open to membership from individuals and families interested in: community-supported agriculture; co-housing; eco-village development; and sustainable living in general. The TCA has no religious or political affiliation. The list will serve as forum for free and open discussion, leading (it is hoped) to practical expression in the form of eco-village development somewhere in the vicinity of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Our model is the Eco-Village at Ithaca (http://www.ecovillage.ithaca.ny.us/) and Earthsong Ecological Development (http://www.earthsong.org.nz/design/design_brief.html), suitably modified to local conditions.
