Skyview Acres is an intentional cooperative community of 50 families in a beautiful natural setting 35 miles north of New York City. Each home has two to four acres of land, as well as a community swimming pond and ballfield. The community, began in 1946, is multicultural and multigenerational.

We currently have one home for sale. .

Our community does not discriminate in regards to housing based on race/color, national origin, religion, sex/gender, family status (i.e. having children, not having children, or being pregnant), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, ancestry, source of income, age, creed, personal appearance, political affiliation, HIV infection, military/veteran status, unfavorable military discharge, gender identity or expression, receiving public assistance, or being the victim of domestic abuse.

This year it was $450)
Land and Buildings Suburban Area: 100 acres (40.5 hectares) Land Owned By: Individual community member(s) (Membership in the community is contingent upon purchasing a home in the community. We currently have one home for sale.) Number of Residences: 50 Cohousing: No	Food, etc. Percentage of Food Grown: 1-5% (Some members have extensive gardens.) Share Community Meals: Rarely Dietary Choice or Restrictions: Diet is up to each individual Dietary Practice: Omnivorous Alcohol Use: Used occasionally Tobacco Use: Seldom used (Public areas are smoke free.)	Social Factors Common Spiritual Practices: No (A founder of the community, Alfred Hassler, was a pacifist. The community shares many of his values, though there are a variety of perspectives represented. Many members could be described as social, political and/or environmental activists.) Educational Style(s): (Members use local public schols, private schools and home schooling.)
