Change, a breath of fresh air, a new adventure, an unique move into a new millennium has taken hold. Challenged, motivated, and now gifted by the resounding triumph of change, we are motivated to harness this new inspiration. Many feel the empowerment to act cohesively for an outcome appealing to humankind's higher altruistic potential.
After a summer and fall dedicated to supporting President-Elect Barack Obama, change is on the wind. I suspect many of us have waited our entire lives to have this opportunity to support our empathy for humankind. Now, more than ever, we can sincerely ask, "Why Be Normal?".
This new time seeks diversity, for as more alternatives are explored the hope for meaningful breakthrough increases. One's own space, one's sanctuary, one's kingdom, one's free and clear home, that's the goal. Low overhead and increased free time allows us to be more helpful to others. How efficiently and economically may that be obtained? There's no free ride, but there is an innovative path to gain one's placement into a simple, natural, easier going life.
Volcano Cove, a proposed intentional community, has high aspirations. Its goal is to showcase and prove a superior building technology that serves the demands of the present and future more effectively than any other method.
Utilizing bulk materials already processed by volcanic action and efficient structural shapes, the system is simple and fundamental.
Implementing this will be the investment, cashflow, and sustaining profit of Volcano Cove.
As much as the manual labor required, there's a complementary artistic side.
Intended to work synergistically with sun and wind, a model for simple, safe, self sufficient, planet friendly living will be a performing example for others to emulate.
Initiating a project beginning with novel concept seems foreign and highly speculative to new comers. However, the smartest, most profitable thing one can do for one's self is to employ sweat equity for home ownership.
Already sizable equity is injected, the vehicle is sound and ready to roll, and the destination is clear. All that remains is people coming to the table, motivated by change, for a sustainable, fulfilling future.
Any enterprise requires a place to work and a place to live. A dynamic balance between social interaction, working, and inviolate privacy is necessary for productivity and happiness.
Many heads are better than one. Help me with your ideas. This is the real deal. You are the answer.
