Anabaptist Ecovillage
This is a forming collective of the Christ-Centric; Disciples of Yahshua Messiah; the Body of Christ! We're Earth Stewards honoring all He creates; working & worshiping in Koinonia; living in Shekhinah! We're Agrarian, Equestrian, simple-living plain people. What's happening in our culture/world is an awareness of getting back to living sustainably; finding a way to do that and still pollute; over-consume: It's just not possible or sustainable! God gave humans directives as to how to live on Earth (Genesis) but humans eventually ignored those directives and Industrialized Earth anyway. We're beginning to pay for it, and the future is unclear (yet prophetically certain). But food and shelter grows out of the ground; true security is in nature; in living closer to Gods creation, depending on it via Jehovah-Jireh!
A.E. will be off-grid, usury-free living! This will be a Fellowship, Not a followship; a Ministry, not (just) a business; a Community, not a commune! Group living in one big box; not a good idea! Small private cabins w/shared common areas (septic, water, power, horse barn, shop, greenhouse, School/meeting hall, etc). Sharing and stewardship is the goal here; to live Amish Mennonite but with some modernity! We need to live independent of the unstable national economy, not trapped within it! We will not be consumers of the world’s goods, but sellers; excess organic foods, homes, crafts, solar equipment, biofuels, publication & educational products. I'm Anabaptist, published Author, tekton, tradesman, draftsman, naturalist, hunter-trapper, simple-living Earth steward: Former General Contractor now focused on eco-building and Village life. Seeking singles, couples, and families to co-steward undeveloped acreage in the Jamesport, MO region (or the Ozarks)! Thinking big w/keywords like: Transition Town; Slow City; Car-Free City!
Our Lord (and Apostles) spent time in the wilderness, living off the land: fished, hunted, farmed, gardened, made tents, etc: They lived simple and so will we; shared resources and helped each other out, partaking in a larger Christian Community; so will we! This is not about titles, self-beliefs or religious affiliations, it's about Love, Faith, honor, equity, commitment, selflessness; a radically Transformed life via the Indwelling Holy Spirit! Please visit website, pray & ponder; be blessed as you seek His will in finding Community; Oneness (in obedience to John 17)!
