 The Dreamlodge is an intentional common-unity of spiritual artists stewarding a powerful vortex on Mt. Shasta. We're currently in the process of re-focusing on the original vision of the Lodge. The vision is multi-facated, focused on healing, awakening and celebrating. The Dreamlodge is poised to serve as a center for healing, movement and performance arts; for local, regional and universal connections to be established and recognized; and as a living demonstration of sustainable, spiritual community.
The community is located on 3.5 acres in a manzanita brush region on the border of national forest. We're a 15 minute walk from downtown Mt. Shasta and 30 minute walk from the headwaters of the Sacramento River.
Our spiritual focus is on the Divine Creator/Creation, known by many names and beyond description. We recognize that all rivers lead to the same ocean. Our intent is to foster the connection of each soul with the Source of All Creation.
We perform Agni Hotra fire ceremony everyday with the sunrise and sunset. Agni Hotra is a vedic science using sanskrit mantras and fire for the purification of ourselves and our environment.
Our newly established garden is now providing us with a salad almost every night of the week. We're also tending a variety of native and heirloom plants for food and seed. The garden has lots of potential for expansion.
Metaphorically speaking, the plant that is the Dreamlodge is now above the soil and showing it's first leaves. It is growing strong and fast and needs some soil amendments for vibrant health and full blossoming. In practical terms, the house could use some minor repairs and beautification, the land some caretakers with a vision of sustainability and permiculture, and of course at this time, a continuing flow of uncle sam's promissory notes.
We give ourselves and this space as an offering for the harmony and happiness of all sentient beings

Visitor Process: Please call or e-mail ahead of time. No pets please. We have a suggested donation of $20 a night and a request of an hour of community service. Guests who can't afford to contribute financialy might be offered opportunities for selfless service. Guests who want to participate in community meals are asked to contribute food or money. This is an ashram of the Divine, open to those who come with the intent of deepening their relationship with the Most High. All spirital paths welcome.
