 The Enchanted Garden
Welcomes You!
Through flowers, live herbs,
and whole foods present
and circulating through
our daily lives, we can help
the world grow healthy
and beautiful from the ground up.
The Earth, through our own hands,
very close to home, beginning in our
own backyard, can become an
Enchanted Garden!
--Leslie Goldman
Your Enchanted Gardener
Eight of us live together on a 1/3-acre parcel surrounded by canyons in the state-college area of San Diego. The land exists as an oasis of green with many aromatic herbs and simple foods growing. The work that has gone into preserving this natural environment is an inspiration to many. The land is rich in nature spirits and life energies drawn here through many hands working together.
We have a large library of books in the areas of natural food, gardening, Feng Shui, personal growth, and eclectic spiritual studies. The library houses books and materials created by Leslie Goldman, founder, and works by his mentors, Bernard Jensen, natural healing arts elder, and Edmond Bordeaux Szekely, modern Essene renaissance pioneer.
The property is in private ownership and is a house offering rental to those who would like to live in shared house and join together in occasional house meetings and shared house duties. Each person does 12 hours of work per month, or pays a higher rent. Please see our website for more details. We live by basic agreements to keep the house orderly--Every Day Upkeep-- and maintain the property. Rentals occur from time to time.
The Enchanted Garden is a name for the new Earth we can each grow one person at a time, one plant at a time, organically. Growing the Enchanted Garden is a by-product of our own human flowering, and reestablishing the bonds between our highest seed dreams and the Earth.
Numbers of people join the
Enchanted Garden Club. Others
are students and likely think of
this as a good place to live
that is near San Diego State University. That University is
within walking distance.
We also have a new trolley station
at the school that gives access
to downtown and travels north.
An international network of friends spreads the message of the Enchanted Garden through joining the Enchanted Garden Club and signing a Declaration of Interdependence. See lesliegoldman.com for more info. Ongoing projects include support for local organic farming. We aspire to create more and more extended community around gardening together and shared rituals. Individuals who would like to live in this special environment while fulfilling their personal seed dreams and learning more about the Enchanted Garden are encouraged to be in touch.
