An ecovillage is a model that transforms human settlements into a full-featured sustainable community, harmlessly suited to the natural environment. Eliopoli is a different way of conceiving the ecovillage concept. Indeed, it integrates environmental sustainability, education, social responsibility sharing, participation, decisional and alternative technology with a pragmatic approach that comprehends the development of economical and business activities.

Eliopoli is aimed to create wellness and prosperity to its stakeholders, and represents a cutting edge experiment for a new holistic lifestyle.

Support Eliopoli: Alternative news often speak of disturbing future events, which may leave with a mixture of fear and despair. Yet there is light at the end of the tunnel, a positive timeline for our future, the occurrence of which depends on each one of us. Just yesterday, a friend asked me "what can I do practically"? It is not easy when you are overwhelmed by daily life. Today I propose a simple gesture for everyone, to support a future based on compassion, and harmony with nature and among men. Eliopoli wants to show that a new life model that underlines the qualitative aspects of life can be realized focusing on human needs in a way compatible with business and environment . Our community fits the legal definition of "housing for older persons" * and thus we may restrict membership/residency to those of a certain age and may have limits on child membership/residency in accordance with the law.
