We have 7.25 acres of land so far and there is plenty more to buy. We are located 20 miles west of Taos, New Mexico, and are looking to create a space that is kid friendly with like-minded families. We are currently in the beginning stages of our intentional community, and need people to help in any way possible.
We have goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, and rabbits. We have been experimenting with different ways of growing food in this dry climate. In the long run, we would like to get as far away from the supermarket as possible and be totally self-sufficient. We want to build a cottage industry that will grow. At some point in time, we would like to see at least 100 acres of connected community land in every state. My wife and I have two young children ages four and five; I am 39 and my wife is 26 years old. Come build a beautiful community with us!
