Primitive Vegan/Vegetarian
United States
red corn
We're interested in forming a vegan/vegetarian primitivist ("stone age") community: without electricity, plumbing, chainsaws, or store-bought tools and building materials. Perhaps we could start out using some of these things, but then gradually phase them out at our own pace, as we learn other ways. We want to have warm, cozy huts, and gather around our beautiful, hand built hearth(s), rather than having a stark life and being freezing in the winter!
We're thinking to be somewhere in the warmer regions of North America, depending on the people who join.
So far, we're envisioning a group in which monogamy is a strongly held value for our human relationships, as well as welcoming people of all sexual orientations and racial/ethnic backgrounds. We're thinking of a peaceful, musical, low-key lifestyle, with eclectic or earth spirituality. Most dogs would probably not fit into this vegan/vegetarian picture, due to barking, chasing, and/or killing wildlife and our chickens!
