Greetings Friend of Intentional Communities,
May this correspondence find you well.
This InterFaith Settlement is an intentional community including people from different religious traditions, including Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam. This InterFaith Settlement is an extension of the InterFaith Movement, having tangibly begun more than one hundred years ago through the first Parliament of the World's Religions. The purpose of this InterFaith Settlement is to progress InterFaith dialogue into immediate and pragmatic interaction between adherents of the respective religious traditions of the Universe.
This InterFaith Settlement is currently within the conceptual stage of formation. The details of this InterFaith Settlement are being determined through a process of consensus between adherents of different religions located throughout the World. The objective of this conceptual stage is to establish a benefacting trust that provides the land and necessary resources for this InterFaith Settlement.
With the land and necessary resources properly established, the residents of this InterFaith Settlement are intended to inhabit this InterFaith Settlement. Residency within this InterFaith Settlement is multi-generational with an emphasis on the integrity of family.
All residents of this InterFaith Settlement acknowledge, and many strictly adhere to, the Universal Principles of Faith.
