 This is a commune that is in the forming stages in the Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada area. This is a primitive/modern commune. Basically, we use technology to help build and maintain sustainably. We are looking for friends who will help us in our goals and full community members. For more information, please contact us through our website(under construction)or this site.

Statement of Housing Non-discrimination:
Because our housing is a single housing unit and requires the sharing of bathroom, kitchen and common space membership/residency may be restricted based on sex/gender in accordance with the law. Our community does not discriminate based on race/color, national origin, religion, family status (i.e. having children, not having children, or being pregnant), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, ancestry, source of income, age, creed, personal appearance, political affiliation, HIV infection, military/veteran status, unfavorable military discharge, gender identity or expression, receiving public assistance, or domestic abuse.

(you would still have to meet the financial obligations that each member would normally, no expected exemptions, but for the right person we may make allowances(delay payment, make arrangements))

(everone would have tasks to do, whatever they are capable of doing. also rotation of tasks. If someone is not helping out or pulling their weight they may be asked or told to leave)

(right now as no co-op structure yet, if all goes well, hoping to have it either leased to the SSS for the price of taxes, or sold to the SSS. Will be decided by concensus.)

(One 16 X 18 cabin. one 16 X 26 cabin. the hope is to have one main hall and then one lodging house with separate rooms under one roof, and separate bath/showering facilities.)

(mostly wild edibles, just purchassed the land so a garden is in the works and this figure will change drasticly as the seasons go by)

(the plan would be to have all meals together with people able to share the workload of preparing meals for the group)

Omnivorous
(omnivore diet. other diets welcome but people would have to realise that this would be more difficult to achieve where we are(winter makes things tough for vegans but not impossible).)

(depends if we are able to make our own with what we have...)

(right now prohibited until furthur notice(religious/spiritual ceremonies exempt by asking in advance))
