| Established in year 2000, Wormhole house is an eight-bedroom household in a quiet neighborhood of Berkeley, California, near the Ashby BART station. It's a big house with plenty of bedroom and common space, but only a modest urban back garden.
The neighborhood is very diverse racially and by income, with families, students, and working people, young and old. The house has been fairly gender balanced. The building has been progressively improving over the years, with artistic decor and techy toys.
We have a meeting a month or so, which usually is fairly brief and painless. We make decisions by informal consensus or do-ocracy, whichever happens for a given situation at hand.
We enjoy yummy food, engaging conversation, fun toys, outdoor adventure, circus play, quirky art, frilly clothes, and are not afraid of bizarre sex or unconventional music. And bicycles. We like bicycles.
Oh, and there's a baby living here. | Community location is placed at the center of the zip/postal code, city/state, or city/country (not based on street addresses) |
