Springtime
LeisureLand Community is a small intentional family of artistic, nuero-diverse humans, cats, dogs, and livestock. We only accept new human members when they are already a part of our extended family, and animals only when needed.
We live rurally with the hope of being self-sustaining in the next few years: we have gravity fed surface water in our lodge, and cart gravity fed potable water to our lodge from our neighbor's land; we have a garden but are still learning how to use it; we have water pressure we could use to harvest hydro-electricity, but have yet to install the micro-hydro-plant; we live on a small gravel road yet still commute for part of our incomes; we compost all possible materials that come through our home, including human waste.
We believe in communication, freedom of expression, and living in harmony with our surroundings.
We welcome any questions you may have, but are not open to visitors at this time.

Hey there. I read about this community on a blog. I think it's awesome that a group of autistics have banded together to create their own community, doing everything on their own terms with no outside influence. I'm autistic too, and such news brings a smile to my face.

Good luck, and feel free to contact me if any of you wish to do so.
