Bohn Farm Community Cohousing
Longmont, Colorado,
United States
(no physical location yet)

We are now forming a cohousing movement to build a community on a historic six-acre family farm in southeast Longmont near the St. Vrain River greenbelt and Isaak Walton Pond. Join us to create the neighborhood of your dreams: community with your neighbors, gardens, open space, a new city park, access to miles of the city's trail network from your back door, and walking distance to downtown.
We do not yet own this land. The owner foresees selling it by 2012, perfect timing for the cohousing process. We hope to conserve the beauty and rural nature of our neighborhood by establishing a cohousing "gem" that encourages interaction and learning between cohousing members and their neighbors. Friends in the surrounding Bohn Farm neighborhood are supportive of cohousing, and have worked with the city to reserve a two-acre portion of the farm for a new public park.
