Hope Hill Community
Hobart, Tasmania,
Australia
Founding Members
We are a small community of believers here in Tasmania, Australia, who attempt to live a simple life guided by the laws and commandments of God as best we can. We believe very strongly in good old fashioned family values, and defined roles of men and women, and believe that in today's world, in order for believing families to survive, they need to learn together. In a world full of individuals, perhaps now is the time when we all need each other most, as deep down we all long for a sense of tribal belonging.
We grow fruit and vegetables for our own use and to sell, and aim to till the soil by horse and plough, and to get back to the old ways of living, and to not be tied to our modern society any more than we have to. Although small in number at this stage, we have made much progress in this direction to date, and invite inquiries from others who love God and seek to live according to His rules among like-minded brethren.
