Freedom-Universe is an Egalitarian Intentional Community on 40 rural acres in north central Arizona.

This community is being built on a foundation of interpersonal relationships based on shared values such as conviviality, social tolerance, equality, honesty, and nonviolence.

Members can only join as sovereign individuals. There is no membership category available for traditional monogamous couples (married or not). Whatever consenting adult members agree to do (share) with each other is considered ethical and fair. Egalitarian Polyfidelity inside of Sacred Sexuality is the family structure for the Freedom-Universe Tribe. The religious idea of "original sin" is not embraced here. The nude human body is not viewed as obscene, and in support of that view, this is a clothing optional tribe/family.

Environmental and economic sustainability will be pursued using renewable energy, sustainable building materials and techniques, permaculture, and organic/bio-dynamic gardening.

Greed and deception are reinforced in any system of economic hierarchy, whether it is capitalism, Nazism, fascism, communism/totalitarianism, or outright dictatorship (due to the erroneous cultural conditioning that competition is the only process that creates technological advances and improves economic prosperity). In an economic hierarchy, deception is observable in almost every marketing pitch made, where the goal is increasing consumerism, thereby redistributing the bulk of the wealth of the planet to an increasingly smaller percentage of its inhabitants. Correspondingly, this is to the economic detriment of the increasingly larger segment of the population now living below Maslow's basic hierarchy of needs, i.e., in poverty. Freedom-Universe will represent a model of egalitarian cooperation and sharing embodying the value of "love thy neighbor as thyself," instead of competition, greed and deception.

Statement of Housing Non-discrimination:

Our community is a legally sanctioned church or religious organization and living in our community is restricted to members of that religion as allowed by law. Our religion does not discriminate based on race, color, or national origin. Housing in our community is non-commercial (i.e. not intended to make a profit).

Population Members(adults and children): 1 (male 69) Non-member Residents: 0 (Occasional interns for several months at a time.) Open to new members: Yes (Building a 12 member tribe/intentional family)	Government Decision Making: By consensus (See Behavioral Standards 7. & 12. for a complete description) Identified Leader: No Leadership Core Group: Yes (The whole tribe participates in shared leadership via the consensus process.)	Labor and Money Financial Style: 100% income sharing (Personal wealth acquired prior to joining remains in trust for the individual should she/he decide to leave. All members share the same standard of living.) Open to Members with Pre-existing Debt: Yes (Each debt situation would have to be reviewed thoroughly on an individual basis for membership consideration. Freedom-Universe has no debts, but is not yet large enough to pay off debts incurred by others.) Land and Buildings Rural Area: 40 acres (16.2 hectares) Land Owned By: Independent land trust (not controlled by the community) (Up to 50% of the board of trustees of the Community Land Trust will be from the intentional community called Freedom-Universe, with the remaining board of trustee members coming from the larger regional community.) Number of Residences: 3 (Currently, one 16' RV Trailer, one 14' x 56' 2 BR, 1-1/2 Bath single wide, and one 40' RV trailer. Plans are to build passive solar thermal mass housing structures using earthship and/or earth bag building techniques.) Cohousing: No (We do not know of any co-housing communities that embrace equality as a value.)	Food, etc. Percentage of Food Grown: 6-20% (An organic/bio-dynamic garden has been started and will be expanded as new members join, using permaculture design principles. The community originator is involved on a weekly basis with the Karma Farm community garden project in Prescott, AZ which gives produce for free to indigent people, as well as providing a share for the volunteer garden crew.) Share Community Meals: Nearly all meals (Currently one member. As new members join, the number of meals eaten together could change, but the goal is to eat together as much as possible.) However, Freedom-Unviverse is an intentional multple adult family vision, so if a person's diet choice does not permit him/her to kiss an omnivore, then this is not the place for such a person.) Out of all the communities that I have researched, yours truly speaks to my heart. It speaks of beyond duality.
