Verein Keimblatt
Zurndorf,
Austria
(40 km south-east of Vienna)
We are a group of people with the goal of establishing the first ecovillage in Austria. Our objective is to create a regionally involved and hospitable community for about 150 people on the path to peacableness, sustainability and self-development.
The resource consumption of the members of our ecovillage is to be feasible and an example of good practice. Furthermore, the ecovillage is to serve our society as a model of sustainability in combination with a high quality of life.
We attach particular importance to how we deal with each other. It is our conviction that social cohesion is the basic precondition for any functioning society with all its different facets. The space created for individual self-fulfillment leaves room for the contentedness of each member of the ecovillage and thus of the entire community.
